United Site Services is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced talent development professional who will bring their passion for facilitation, employee development and culture to our Talent Development team. This individual will facilitate several key programs and support the development of our ongoing employee onboarding, career and leadership programs. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a high level of flexibility & commitment and the ability to work within a rapidly growing and changing environment.

Functional Description:

Assists senior management in the development of solutions through organizational development and cultural and process-oriented perspectives. Performs the full scope of activities associated with the management development/training function. Conducts needs evaluation and designs curricula and courses to meet those needs. Acts as liaison to vendors, and reviews their courses for adaptability to internal needs. Ensures quality of vendor originated courses. May conduct training programs in areas such as sales techniques, computer software/hardware, company products and policies, supervisory/management techniques, etc. May provide career and development consultation to employees. Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis and problem solving.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, facilitate, implement and maintain meaningful, interactive talent development solutions for new employee orientation, career and leadership development programs
  • Design program materials that include facilitator guides, participant workbooks, presentations and job aids
  • Plan and facilitate interactive training and webinars
  • Manage vendor relationships/contracts closely to design and develop effective and engaging e-Learning courses and workshops
  • Analyze and evaluate talent development programs/resources through post training feedback and other benchmarked metrics for continuous improvement and to offer evidence of the effectiveness or make recommendations
  • Conduct learning needs assessments as needed
  • Build and maintain strong client and subject matter expert relationships to ensure development needs are identified and addressed through a variety of scalable learning solutions
  • Engage in marketing strategies to create awareness and follow through of the talent development programs, and all other learning resources
  • Maintain awareness of, and incorporate, current best practices and trends in the area of talent development
  • Fully prepare for content facilitation and logistical requirements of workshops; order/print materials, schedule rooms, set up room, test technology and track attendance,
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Talent Development, Learning & Development, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Instructional Design or related field
  • 3+ years facilitation experience
  • Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, listening, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Experience facilitating for large groups
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with team members, HRBPs, global leaders, and vendors
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects
  • Ability to work independently, manage project timelines and goals, and the initiative to create and meet individual work plans
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, critical thinking and initiative
  • Demonstrated understanding of Adult Learning Theory
  • Computer proficient in Microsoft Office -- Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, and Outlook
  • Experience in curriculum development software such as Articulate Storyline
  • Technical / Functional Skills Knowledge of design and learning methodologies
  • Experience working with a Learning Management System
  • Advanced understanding of Instructional Design Best Practices
  • Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or other talent development/learning related certifications
  • Up to 25% travel
